The Canterbury Clinical Network is a consortium of health care leaders including urban and rural general practitioners and practice nurses, community (district) nurses, pharmacists, physiotherapists, NGO, CDHB planning and funding management, Manawhenua ki Waitaha, PHO and IPA representatives.
Until now a Steering Group has provided clinical oversight and direction to the team putting together the Business Case document. The network is in the process of being formalised with a Transition Leadership Board (TLB) acting as the governing body going forward.
The TLB is a group of health and business leaders who can provide professional insight to and take a whole system view over the short to medium term. The board will establish a sustainable Canterbury Clinical Network that will plan and coordinate the 2010-13 Transformation Work Programme.
