- Ministry Appointment Named - Nov 2009 - John Baird has been appointed as the Ministry representative to the Canterbury Clinical Network business case development. This is particularly good news to us as John was a key contributor to our EOI, and he has strong management and facilitation skills.

- MoH Calls Workshop - 7 Dec 2009 - A workshop has been called by the Ministry in Wellington today (9 December). The aim of this day is to get all the successful EOI applicants together to discuss the various components of the business case and the purpose of the Better, Sooner, More Convenient initiative.
- Secure Website Created - 8 Dec 2009 - Now more secure! For clinicians and health professionals who are actively involved in the Canterbury Clinical Network, more information is now available through the secure site. Just register and as soon as you are authorised, you can access this area.
- Another Ministry Workshop Called - 3 February 2010 - A workshop in Wellington has been arranged today to discuss funding and contract models. A small group from Canterbury are attending.
- Big Futures Workshop Planned - 3 February 2010 - All together now! Participants in the Futures workshops that have taken place over the previous months have been invited to attend a large workshop on 8-9 February at the University of Canterbury Dovedale Campus, Wheki Building (3rd floor). The slide presentation from the Big Workshop is available on the Documents web page.
- Next Workshop Suggested - 10 February 2010 - Attendance at the 8-9th Feb workshops was fantastic with over 100 people attending each day, but it was recognised that primary care and hospital clinicians were underrepresented. At the workshop yesterday it was agreed that another event would be held after Easter in order to allow time for more clinicians to rearrange schedules so they could attend. Email your interest in attending.
- Panel Discussion to discuss Business Case - 22 March 2010 - A small team from Canterbury will be attending a panel discussion with the Business Case assessors on Tuesday 23 March in Wellington.
- Dr Ashley Bloomfield has called for a summary of CCN's Year One Deliverables, due in Wellington on 30 April.

- Welcome PAG! The Physiotherapy Advisory Group is welcome to the CCN site - we look forward to your ongoing input into this exciting transformation.
- Dr Ashley Bloomfield provides feedback on Year One Deliverables and advises success of Canterbury Clinical Network's Implementation Plan.
- HSAGlobal and Canterbury Clinical Network have been awarded a contract with the National Health IT Board to develop a shared care model and IT solution.
