Much work has been done already in key focus areas such as Aged Care, Urgent Care, Referred Services Management and Primary-Secondary Care Integration (through Canterbury Initiative). This clinically-led work will continue as initiatives are developed and implemented to enhance and transform services in these areas.

A work programme is being developed and deliverables have been identified. (See document submitted to the Ministry here.)

Other workstreams will be kicked off as funding and capacity permit in order to reach our deliverables.

Our aim is to get as many people contributing to areas of development as possible. To do this transformation 'right', we need to accept that this is 'our' health system and it is all of our responsibility to transform it.
